Halloween in Las Vegas for Kids, Teens, and Families

Updated October 5, 2026

Halloween 2026 in Las Vegas for Kids, Teens & Families

Forget the Strip’s nightclub parties for a minute. The best Halloween stuff in this town is aimed at kids: a haunted forest built for five-year-olds, a parade every Friday and Saturday in Summerlin, trick-or-treating through a shark tunnel, and more free trunk-or-treats than you could hit in a month.

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so the big trick-or-treat spots are going to be slammed. Get there early. Every date below was checked against the organizer’s own listing, and we’ve flagged the ones that haven’t posted 2026 details yet.

Halloween Weekend Cheat Sheet

Short on time? Here’s where to be on Oct. 30 and 31. Friday is Nevada Day, so the kids are off school.

Still the best all-ages Halloween night in the valley, and it’s in year 13. The Forest Express train, the carousel, mini golf, a 50-foot slide, trick-or-treat stations and a lit-up haunted path that’s spooky without sending anybody home in tears. One big change: tickets are now date-specific, so you pick your night when you buy. Don’t roll up on a Saturday expecting to walk in. Every ticket funds Opportunity Village’s programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Downtown Summerlin Halloween Parade

Parade of Mischief at Downtown Summerlin

FreeAll ages
Dates
Fridays & Saturdays: Oct. 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24
Time
6pm
Where
Park Centre Drive, Downtown Summerlin

Dozens of local kids, dancers and floats take over Park Centre every weekend night. This year’s floats borrow from Wicked, Harry Potter, Hocus Pocus, Cruella and The Addams Family, plus a Día de los Muertos float. Heads up, the last parade is Saturday, Oct. 24, not Halloween night. Grab a curb spot by 5:45 and make dinner at Downtown Summerlin part of the plan.

Clark County Museum, 1830 S. Boulder Hwy., Henderson
Cost
$15, family 4-pack $50, 6-pack $75

Kids trick-or-treat down the museum’s Heritage Street, which is eight real historic houses moved onto the property, the oldest from the 1910s and one built for Hoover Dam workers. Throw in live entertainment and costume contests and you’ve got the most unusual trick-or-treat route in Southern Nevada. Details from Clark County.

Kingdom of Zombies

NewFamily haunt
Dates
Fri–Sun nights through Halloween weekend, plus Thu, Oct. 29
Where
Las Vegas Sportspark, Summerlin
Cost
$35 general admission, $45 Haunt Pass

The Summerlin Paintball crew built a haunt meant for families: two zombie mazes (Zombie Escape and Raccoon City) plus a Museum of Monsters. The $45 pass adds a glow-in-the-dark zombie hunt. It’s the right next step for kids who’ve outgrown Haunted Harvest but aren’t ready for Asylum.

Weekends starting Oct. 10 (Oct. 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 and on)
Time
5:30–7pm

The pick for preschoolers. Trick-or-treat stations wind through the BOO-tanical Garden, with crafts, live shows and food trucks along the way. No haunted-house scares. Tickets are online only and attendance is capped, so buy ahead. It’s a cashless venue, and overflow parking is at Meadows Mall.

Hours
10am–8pm
Where
Shark Reef Aquarium, Mandalay Bay
Cost
Kids 5–12 in costume $5, 4 and under free

Trick-or-treating through the shark tunnel. Five bucks for a costumed kid is the best family deal on the Strip all week, and it runs during the day, so it works for the early-bedtime crowd.

Henderson’s Halloween night on Main Street. Kids trick-or-treat at participating shops, classic monsters roam around, there’s live music and local vendors, and costume contests are split by age group so the babies aren’t up against the 10-year-olds. Free parking in the surface lots and garages.

The LINQ Promenade

Halloween at The LINQ Promenade

Details TBA

Caesars hasn’t posted its 2026 Halloween schedule for the Promenade yet. Expect décor, costumed street performers and themed food and drink specials over Halloween weekend, and last year Chayo threw a Día de Brujas and Día de los Muertos party over the same weekend. We’ll update this once the lineup is out.

Free Trunk-or-Treats & Neighborhood Nights

Clark County and the City of Las Vegas run a ton of these at rec centers and parks. Most are free and wrapped up by 8pm, which is exactly what you want on a school night.
