PARK MGM announces Las Vegas’ First Executive Meeting Center

PARK MGM

As part of Monte Carlo Resort and Casino’s transformation into Park MGM this spring, an innovative venue within the new meetings and conference space is now booking groups for this May and beyond. The Madison Meeting Center, the first of its kind in Las Vegas, will cater to customized meetings for groups from 10 to 50 people.

The 10,000-square-foot, modern-designed conference center space will offer 10 flexible rooms able to accommodate varying layouts ideal for classroom-style training, certifications, product seminars, workshops and tailored events. With two self-service lounges, ergonomic moveable furniture with integrated power along with built-in audio/visual equipment, confidence monitors and rolling whiteboards, the Madison Meeting Center will inspire interaction and encourage collaboration.

Increasing the center’s appeal is the first Complete Meeting Package (CMP) offering on the Las Vegas Strip. The all-inclusive pricing allows meeting planners to pay a flate rate per attendee, providing convenience and cost-efficiency. With 80 percent of MGM Resorts’ convention groups at 100 guestrooms or less, the CMP and Madison Meeting Center reflect the company’s focus to provide small groups with innovative options.

“As we reimagined this resort, we had the opportunity to develop a fresh perspective on meeting areas including non-traditional spaces such as the Madison Meeting Center to evolve with the changing needs of groups,” said Amanda Voss, Vice President of Sales for Park MGM and a recipient of this year’s HSMAI’s Top 25 Most Extraordinary Minds. “Our customers want these types of flexible work spaces that lead to greater conversation, creativity and productivity.”

The Madison Meeting Center will complement the recently opened 58,600 square feet of modern conference space featuring expansive ballrooms and 43 flexible meeting rooms. The high-touch, high-tech meeting venues are filled with natural light and overlook the resort’s pools. For those wanting private outdoor meeting space, the 4,345-square-foot Central Park Terrace provides the ideal setting. Later this year, Park MGM will introduce the Ideation Studio, completing the resort’s new 77,000-square-foot conference and event space.

Donald W. Upson, President of Upson Technology Group, said, “A little less than a year ago, we took a chance and made the decision to move our conference, CES Government, to Park MGM. Las Vegas is the world’s entertainment and conference capital and customer service obviously is critical. ‘Good’ is standard, ‘very good to excellent’ is common, and ‘exceptional’ is not surprising. Our Park MGM team took service to an entirely new level – one I can only describe just north of ‘perfect.’”

In addition to the new meeting space, the resort’s Park Theater, a centerpiece of Park MGM’s entertainment experience, doubles as a signature event space. Accommodating up to 5,200 guests in 30,000 square feet of space, Park Theater is beautifully designed with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking The Strip and The Park.

Kara Dickerson, Vice President of Conferences for Consumer Technology Association, said, “As the world’s largest technology and innovation event, we selected Park Theater to host our keynotes for CES 2018 because of its state-of-the art A/V, lighting, staging and the gorgeous interior that provided a top-notch environment for some of the most highly sought after senior leaders in the tech space. All of the Park Theater staff, ranging from sales, production, guest services and security, were all true professionals who were obviously proud to represent this new venue that is as technologically advanced as it is visually stunning.”

With a combination of modern, non-traditional spaces and flexible design, the new meeting offerings fill an unmet need in Las Vegas for small groups, while also providing beautiful spaces to host up to 5,000 attendees.
