SEMA: The Industry’s Biggest Week Is About to Hit Vegas

If you’re in the car world, you already know what November means — SEMA week. The one time a year when Las Vegas becomes the heartbeat of the entire automotive aftermarket. It’s not a car show, it’s an industry takeover. The place where builders, shop owners, parts manufacturers, and die-hard gearheads pack into the Las Vegas Convention Center to see what’s next.

I’ve been coming for years. I’ve walked those halls until my feet gave out, talked my voice raw, and still left feeling like I didn’t see half of it. That’s the thing about SEMA — it’s not something you just attend, it’s something you survive.

SEMA Show in Las Vegas

The first morning always feels like stepping into controlled chaos. You’ll see paint that still smells fresh, cars that were probably finished on the trailer ride in, and builders running on nothing but caffeine and adrenaline. Every booth is trying to outdo the next. Every part on display has a story behind it. And every conversation somehow turns into a collaboration, a trade, or an idea for the next big thing.

It’s the only place you’ll see a ratrod parked next to a six-figure supercar, both getting the same respect. You can walk from vintage restoration gear straight into cutting-edge EV tech in a matter of minutes. It’s a mash-up of everything the aftermarket stands for — creativity, hustle, and innovation.

And while the show floor is where the deals get made, the real connections start once the lights dim. After-hours is where the industry cuts loose — the meetups, receptions, and parties where you bump into people you’ve only ever known by their social handles. That’s where the real networking happens — with a beer in one hand and grease still under your nails.

This year’s show runs November 4–7, 2025, and everyone I know in the business is already gearing up. Shops are thrashing to finish builds, brands are polishing product launches, and you can feel that quiet buzz that means SEMA is getting close.

For anyone in the game — whether you’re turning wrenches, running a shop, or just obsessed with what keeps the wheels turning — this is your week.

Vegas is about to get loud, crowded, and covered in tire rubber. And I wouldn’t miss it for the world.
