The Patriot Las Vegas returns December 3–12, 2026, bringing ten days of rodeo and Western sports competition to Las Vegas during National Finals Rodeo week.

The Patriot has grown into one of the larger collections of competitive Western events held in Las Vegas each December, with competition for everyone from young riders working their way through the junior ranks to experienced ropers, barrel racers and rough stock competitors.

Events take place primarily at Horseman’s Park, with additional competition scheduled at the Plaza in Downtown Las Vegas.

2026 Patriot Las Vegas Schedule Highlights

Thursday, December 3

The event kicks off with the Rough Stock Back Number Ceremony at 8 p.m. The location is still listed as TBA.

Friday, December 4

Competition begins with Dog Trials along with the first rounds of youth bull riding and bareback riding.

Saturday, December 5

Dog Trials continue, along with barrel exhibitions, saddle bronc competition, youth bull riding and Mutton Bustin.

Sunday, December 6

Pole bending and barrel racing take over Arena 1 while bull riding and bareback competition continue in Arena 2.

Monday, December 7

The schedule includes Open 5D barrel racing along with Hooey Junior Patriot semifinals in pole bending and barrel racing. Rough stock competition continues with bull riding, Mutton Bustin and saddle bronc.

Tuesday, December 8

Open 5D barrel racing continues at Horseman’s Park, followed by the Short Go for the rough stock events. Breakaway jackpots and Last Chance Qualifiers are also scheduled at the Plaza.

Wednesday, December 9

Team roping becomes a major part of the schedule with open ropings, Patriot Last Chance Qualifiers and Hooey Junior Patriot semifinals.

The Hooey Junior Patriot Finals for barrel racing and pole bending are also scheduled for Wednesday evening.

Thursday, December 10

Breakaway semifinals, team roping, goat tying jackpots and USTRC Legends Team Roping fill the Horseman’s Park schedule, while additional tie-down and breakaway Last Chance Qualifiers take place at the Plaza.

Friday, December 11

The final day before the championship rounds includes Hooey Junior Patriot semifinals in breakaway, tie-down roping, steer wrestling and goat tying, along with additional open team roping.

Saturday, December 12

The week finishes with the Hooey Junior Patriot Finals beginning at 10 a.m.
