Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower is a Las Vegas Strip resort that opened back in 1979. The signature Las Vegas landmark features a 1,149-foot tower, the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States. The top of the tower features a number of attractions for thrill seekers, including the Observation Deck, SkyJump Las Vegas, and thrill rides Big Shot, X-Scream, and Insanity.

Big Shot is the highest thrill ride in the world, measuring in at 1,081 ft.
Insanity, is the second tallest thrill ride in the world, measuring in at 900 ft. The ride allows thrill seekers to dangle right over the edge of the tower and then spins them in a circular pattern at approximately forty miles per hour
SkyJump Las Vegas, which is probably the craziest attraction at the Stratosphere, allows people to literally dive off the top of the tower. It’s a bungee-jumping-style ride that lets people plummet 855 ft., while attached to a rapid descent wire.
X-Scream at 866 ft. is the third highest thrill ride in the world.

In addition to the famous tower, The Stratosphere has a separate hotel with 24 stories, 2,427 rooms, and an 80,000 SQ. FT. casino. The Stratosphere is located just down the street from the Las Vegas Convention Center at the gateway to downtown Las Vegas.
