I’d describe the bar for you, but instead I point you to a recent blog post where Hog’s & Heifers answers the question, “Is Hogs & Heifers Saloon a Honky-Tonk Bar?”
Here is what they have to say:
Urban Dictionary meaning of the words honky tonk bar to get this #HogsLife blog rollin’…
A loud, rowdy bar that plays ‘honky tonk’ country music. Typically full of drunken hillbillies having a good ole’ time. To go out ‘honky tonkin’ is to go out on the town to honky tonk bars and get drunk.
Needless to say, we fuckin’ love this definition! If one considers this accurate, Hogs & Heifers Saloon is definitely a Honky Tonk Bar. Every song on the juke box may not be country, but we have our share rowdy honky-tonk blaring through our speakers on a daily basis. Plus if you’re drunken hillbilly in Vegas, where else would you go get drunk, PT’s?
