The Hidden Heroes Gala celebrates and recognizes LVMPD Hidden Heroes who work to keep us safe everyday. These Hidden Heroes might not wear a badge, but their commitment to our community is Vegas Strong. Started in 2018, the Gala benefits the LVMPD Foundation by raising important funds for LVMPD Programs.

This public awareness initiative pushes the needle forward as we continue our work to strengthen the relationships between LVMPD and the community. By recognizing and highlighting the diversity in the Department and the importance that diverse perspectives bring to our community, we become Vegas Stronger.

This year, we honor The Criminalistics Bureau and more than one hundred professionals who perform scientific tests or techniques to detect crime. The bureau includes Crime Scene Investigation, the Evidence Vault, and Forensic Laboratory.
