This afternoon, Governor Steve Sisolak announced the continuation of his destructive and draconian orders that are set to completely destroy small business owners for good.
His “statewide pause” which limited capacity to 25% for most business, but allowed Walmart, Amazon and Big Box stores like Costco to ignore the mandates, were extended through January 15th. These measures are not only evil, but they are even worse than a full shutdown since these 25% capacity limits ensure that these businesses lose money just trying to keep the doors open and pay their employees.
That’s why today I am announcing that we will be extending the restrictions in place under the current “Pause” in Nevada for the next month – through January 15th.

He then threatened to completely shut down the state if Nevadans ignore his threats!
We will be evaluating our current situation everyday. But if officials & experts agree that our trends are going beyond our ability to respond, I will be forced to come in front of all of you again with tougher actions. I believe we can avoid that if we all commit to it.

He later told reporters on the Zoom call that Nevada residents need to cancel Christmas, and told the public they should not be having people in their homes for Christmas dinner!

This comes as Sisolak has begun targeting patriotic events and has actually started arresting people for speaking out against his tyranny.
