Sheriff Joseph Lombardo, a man who is more concerned with running for governor than actually keeping Las Vegas safe, has escalated his war on unvaccinated cops. Back in May, he launched a campaign against his own officers, and ran to the national media insulting Las Vegas Metropolitan police officers who refused to take the vaccine, calling them lazy.
He then put polices in place trying to force his officers to take the experimental vaccine including banning officers from being able to use work-related sick leave to quarantine if they tested positive for COVID-19.
All New Hires now required to show PROOF of Vaccine!
After failing to intimidate his officers into taking the COVID vaccine, Lombardo has switched tactics and is now requiring all new hires to be vaccinated and to show proof of vaccination for COVID-19 prior to being hired.
The notice was recently added to the employment page for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Current LVMPD employees who want to switch departments will also be forced to take the vaccine if they want to advance in their career; otherwise they will have to stay in the same position.

Lombardo, who has done jack shit to stop the mass-violence and murders on the Strip, and has even supported Sisolak’s political sideshow to pull officers out of areas with heavy crime and use them in saturation patrols of Chinatown so they can pretend they are fighting Hate Crimes, somehow thinks people are dumb enough to think he is some how different than the current tyrant in the Governors office! One really has to wonder if he is just a plant, so the Republican party doesn’t gain a foothold during the next election!
