This week California is seeing record-breaking snow and rain, as the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Los Angeles issued its first blizzard warning since 1989, and the NWS office in San Diego issued its first-ever blizzard warning in its history.
Despite the record snow and rain, almost all of it will be dumped into the ocean as liberal California government officials have refused to build reservoirs to capture the water while continuing to purposely drain Lake Mead so they can push an agenda of supposed drought and climate change. Even some state agencies are questioning why this rain and snow water is not being stored for use during future droughts. Water agencies and experts say state bureaucracy, designed to distribute water “fairly,” along with insane environmental regulations have stood in the way.
Sadly almost all of this water will end up wasted and dumped into the Ocean!
Even some state agencies are starting to question why this rain and snow water is not being stored for use during future droughts. Water agencies and experts say state bureaucracy, designed to distribute water “fairly,” along with insane environmental regulations have stood in the way.
According to a new report, while California continues to drain Lake Mead, in the California delta — the heart of the state’s vast water system — nearly 95% of incoming water has flowed into the Pacific Ocean, according to U.S. Bureau of Reclamation data. In Los Angeles, an estimated 100 billion gallons of runoff are lost to the ocean yearly.
Record Snow Fall in the Colorado River Basin, but Experts say Lake Mead unlikely to ever refill.
On top of the record rains and snowfall throughout California this year, The snowpack in the Sierra Nevada is the deepest it’s been in decades. At the beginning of February, statewide Sierra snowpack was 205% of normal. As of today, every high-altitude region of Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming that supplies the Colorado River is above average for this time of year. The majority of the runoff for the Colorado River will be snow melting off the Western Rockies where the snowpack currently sits at a healthy 146 percent of average.
But despite these record snowfalls, officials are saying Lake Mead water levels will continue to fall thanks to California’s refusal to keep their own rainwater. Lake Mead cannot supply six landlocked states and continue to deliver 58% of the lower basin’s water to California — everyone knows this, but they choose to keep the global warming scam going and allow California to create an ecological disaster that we may never recover from.

More rain and snow than we’ve had in years, yet somehow the so-called experts are still saying Lake Mead will drop another 19 feet this year and another 25 feet in 2024!

Anyone with half a brain can see something weird is going on here. How can we have record amounts of water entering the Colorado River but somehow still be losing water in Lake Mead due to a so-called drought and global “climate change”?
The media will never show you this graph, but below is the historic end-of-season snowpack for the upper Colorado Rover Basin since 1938. As you can see, there is no global warming drought — in fact, as you can see in the chart the fluctuations have been pretty consistent for almost 90 years, and actually trending a bit upward.

But don’t believe your own eyes and actual waterfall data, Bureau of Reclamation officials are claiming that climate change can cause all of this and anyone who disputes it just doesn’t understand “science”!
“That is one of the challenges with climate change and the warming world. With the same amount of precipitation and same amount of snow, you’re not always getting the same amount of water going into the reservoirs in the spring and summer,” Dan McEvoy, regional climatologist at Desert Research Institute said at a water users conference in Las Vegas last December.
Hey dummy, we are getting more water than ever, so why is there less of it in the lake — is that Climate change too?
Or Could it be they are purposely draining the lake to keep the global warming and drought scam going?
As we reported numerous times last year, fishermen and boaters on the lower Colorado witnessed the Lake being purposely drained to the point that it was actually flooding the lower Colorado. Now ask yourself, why would they let that much water out during a so-called drought? It just doesn’t make sense, unless you are trying to keep the climate change scam going — hey, just like COVID it’s big money for the elites!
So if California is draining Lake Mead on purpose and they refuse to collect all the water that is being put back into the oceans, then they should be cut off from Lake Mead until they figure out how to be self sufficient.
