In the latest attack on freedom and liberty, the Nevada Board of Health, at the request of Governor Steve Sisolak, has unanimously approved a measure to force Nevada college students to take the COVID-19 vaccine in order to get a college education.
State health officials, many of whom have no actual medical training, said students will need to show proof of vaccination by Nov. 1 in order to enroll for Spring 2022 semester classes. Because nothing says emergency like waiting until the Spring of 2022 to mandate a vaccination for a so-called deadly global pandemic.
I look forward to signing the emergency regulation as soon as it gets to my desk.

I also want to thank the Medical Advisory Team for providing this policy recommendation upon my request and for the staff at DPBH for developing the proposal heard at the meeting today.
The news comes on the heels of UNLV censoring students during a townhall, where they turned off online comments so the public wouldn’t see how many students opposed the vaccine mandates.
The draconian vaccine mandate will apply to all colleges and universities in the Nevada System of Higher Education which includes UNLV, UNR, the College of Southern Nevada, Nevada State College, Great Basin College, Desert Research Institute, Western Nevada College and Truckee Meadows Community College.
