Fire Reported at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

Clark County Fire Department are on scene at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas for a reported fire. A little before 8PM, the Clark County Fire Department requested a 2nd alarm for a commercial structure fire at the Cosmopolitan.

A number of guests took to social media, saying they have been stuck on the top floors claiming the elevators have stopped working.

UPDATE: According to Clark County Fire, there was a fire on a balcony on the 51st floor of the Boulevard Tower that caused smoke to fill a hallway. Several people were taken to Sunrise Hospital for smoke inhalation and other minor injuries.

Clark County Fire responded with a total of 10 fire engines, four ladder trucks, four rescues, two squads, and four battalion chiefs and a total of 72 personnel.
