Raiders star wide receiver Henry Ruggs III — the 12th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft – killed another motorist while driving drunk in Las Vegas Tuesday morning.
According to Police, the fatal crash was reported around 3:39 a.m. on Rainbow Boulevard near Spring Valley Parkway. Las Vegas police said the driver of a Cherrolet Corvette, identified as 22-year-old Henry Ruggs III, remained on scene and showed signs of impairment. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have charged Ruggs with DUI resulting in death.
Ruggs was transported to UMC to be treated for minor non-life-threatening injuries.
Ruggs’ attorney, David Chesnoff, told TMZ Sports, “On behalf of our client Henry Ruggs III we are conducting our own investigation as of this writing and ask everyone to reserve judgment until all the facts are gathered.”
The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 22-year-old Henry Rugs III, remained on scene and showed signs of impairment. He was transported to UMC hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Ruggs will be charged with DUI resulting in death. (3/3)
