Trump Turns Vegas Condos into Apartments
With the struggling real estate market and many investors who are unable to get financing, Donald Trump just announced that he is going to lease units at the Trump Tower as furnished apartments.
After the Real Estate Market crashed most of the original investors could not afford to close on their units, which left nearly 60% of the building vacant. The Trump Towers have only closed on 1/3 of it’s available condos and have struggled to find investors for the remaining units.
Local Realtors say that the shift from Condos to apartments is something that many developers are now starting to consider. There are even rumors that MGM’s City Center may have to convert some of it’s condos into apartments until the economy improves.
Trumps Apartments will start at $1,600 a month for a studio, and top out at $6,500 a month for a three bedroom penthouse.
