- Chamber of Commerce Business after Hours. With so many chambers in one town you really can’t go wrong. Attend one and you are guaranteed to make some good contacts.
- A networking club or business organization. There are a number of networking groups here in town. You might want to try LeTip & BNI
- Trade or professional association. These can be a great place to meet people in your industry, while also learning about what is going on in your field.
- Civic organizations. Rotary, Kiwanis, Elks, Moose, Lions. Pick one that you are truly interested in.
- Cultural event. Art Exhibits often bring out large crowds, many of whom are big players in the business community. First Friday can be a good place to start.
- Trade shows. Las Vegas is the # 1 city for tradeshows. A tradeshow can be a great place to meet with people in your industry. Also, try to attend some of your customers conventions, it is a great way to meet who they know and build your network.
- Health club. The health club is not only a great place to get in shape, but it can be a really good place to network.
- Happy hour. There are a lot of good happy hours here in vegas. Be sure to check out the spyonvegas events.
- Throw a party. Invite your clients and prospective clients for a weekend BBQ or a cocktail party.
- Everywhere. Be prepared, you never know who you will run into, make sure you always have plenty of business cards.
