New Year’s Eve fireworks back on Las Vegas Hotel Roofs

County officials announced that Clark County fire and building safety rules will once again allow the New Year’s Eve fireworks to be shot of from the rooftops of Las Vegas Strip hotels.

The 2010 fireworks show will be set off from the roofs on seven Las Vegas Strip hotels.  The strip  will be  closed to vehicles making way for an estimated 250,000 people to party at what the city calls  “America’s Party.”

The $550,000 firework show is expected to include  the Stratosphere tower, Planet Hollywood, MGM Grand, Treasure Island, Venetian hotels, and Caesars Palace, and MGM’s CityCenter.
