What the heck’s a Gansevoort? Bill’s Gambling Hall to be Reborn as Gansevoort Las Vegas
The legendary Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon is getting a new name, new management and a $185 million remodel. The newest Strip property is being completely remodeled and given a new name, Gansevoort Las Vegas.
Not sure what a Gansevoort actually is, but it’s good to see the property isn’t being forgotten about.
Caesars Entertainment, who ran Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon, is now in the process of renovating the old Casino, and is expected to turn over operations to New York based Gansevoort Hotel Group. The new boutique resort will feature a 40,000-square-foot casino, 188 guest rooms with 19 suites, an ultra-lounge, retail outlets, a redesigned lobby bar.
The infamous after hours club Drai’s, will also be returning to its original location along with a new 65,000-square-foot Beach Club / Nightclub and rooftop pool experience.
The new boutique resort is expected to reopen under its new name in January 2014.
