The International Consumer Electronics Show will open its doors next Thursday as manufacturers bring out their latest gadgets which they hope will keep consumers spending throughout the year. With hopes of an economic recovery manufacturers are gearing up for what they hope will be a better year.

While this year’s CES will be smaller than 2007 when over 144,000 people attended, CES stills expects to draw an impressive 110,000 visitors and over 2500 exhibitors.

What to Expect

Some highlights include the long awaited Google “Nexus One” smart phone which uses their Android software. Attendees can also look forward to the latest e-book readers, GPS devices, netbooks, and super thinĀ  flat-screen televisions.
